Watercolor for the Faint of Heart

The Art of Watercolor, I have heard, is so hard.  Not true!  Just take your time, find a subject you enjoy, plan on your color scheme, a design, use good materials and voila, you have a watercolor masterpiece.

Well, maybe, not the first time. Or the second, but just keep practicing and you will get there.

Here are a few materials that have helped me over the years.

1) A Color Wheel, a good straight edge, two round brushes (#10 and #14)
a flat 2 inch brush.

2) Good watercolor paper such as #140 0r #300 Arches Cold Press.

3) Good quality paints, such as Daniel Smith or Windsor Newton

4). Large water containers, with plenty of water
